Viet Nam Railways Authority requires localities to implement synchronous measures to ensure railway traffic safety during the National Day holiday. 
Accordingly, the Railways Authority at grassroots need to strengthen dissemination of laws on railway traffic order and safety to the people, thoroughly handle self-opened paths across railways - a common cause of accidents. Functional forces should closely coordinate with enterprises and railway infrastructure management units to strengthen traffic control at crowded places. At the same time, the railway industry needs to improve the quality of passenger transport services both on trains and at stations, ensuring safety and convenience. The policy of reducing ticket prices for priority groups has been kept unchanged in a bid to support people to travel more conveniently during the holiday.
