In the light of the plan of the Ministry of Public Security, the city public security have issued level 2 electronic identification for foreigners.
From July 1 to August 19, or 50 days and nights of peak implementation of e-ID for foreigners, Hai Phong Public Security have issued e- ID accounts for more than 2,700 cases. It helps foreigners conveniently carry out administrative procedures, reduce the time for completing procedures. For the first time, Vietnam has issued ID accounts for foreigners. This action is an important step forward in the digitalization of administrative procedures, in line with the goal of promoting digital transformation of the Government, the Ministry of Public Security and Hai Phong City./.
