Expressing his pleasure in welcoming the delegation, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee Hoang Minh Cuong shared information about Hai Phong's strengths, potential, and achievements in economic and social development. Currently, Hai Phong is home to 1,000 projects with a total registered investment capital of 32.5 billion USD from investors in 39 countries and territories. Among these, 185 projects are from Korean investors, with a total capital of over 12.8 billion USD, making Korea the top investor in terms of total capital and second in the number of projects. Vice Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee hoped the visit would further strengthen the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Korea. Hai Phong City is committed to creating favorable conditions and always accompanying Korean enterprises throughout their exploration and investment process in the city.
