In the first three months, the number of international visitors to the city was estimated at more than 226,700, an increase of 6.2 times. The tourism revenue in the first two months of the year was estimated at 4,700 billion VND, 2.2 times higher than the same period last year. Hai Phong City's tourism is now thriving thanks to the promoted application of IT in tourism advertising activities. The city has created many new products, and captivating images to attract visitors, stimulate growth, and support tourism recovery as well as its development. The city regularly updates information on the websites such as dulichhaiphong.gov.vn, sodulich.haiphong.gov.vn and the authorities’ official social networking platforms such as Facebook and Youtube to promote and attract a large number of tourists and people to the city.
