With the theme “Millions of benevolent hearts – Thousands of happy homes,” the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presided over the launching ceremony to support the construction of the Great Solidarity House for poor households in Dien Bien province. The special event is among the warm-up activities toward the 70th Anniversary of the victorious Dien Bien Phu battle (May 7th, 1954 - May 7th, 2024). The program aims to draw and mobilize businesses, organizations, collectives, and individuals in the country and overseas Vietnamese to promote the tradition of "Love others as yourself", and build Great Solidarity Houses for poor households in Dien Bien province and the Northwest region, thereby, contributing to educating and arousing the spirit of great national unity, raising the people's sense of responsibility to take care of the people in ethnic minority areas, the revolutionary base of contributions to the national struggle cause for liberation.

After receiving support from agencies, organizations, businesses, and benefactors at home, abroad, and overseas, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will hand over the first phase with 3,000 houses of great solidarity (equivalent to 150 billion VND) for Dien Bien province. During this donation phase, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City registered to support with the amount of 10 billion VND./.
