More than 160 officers and employees working at CQ Aluminum Products Limited Company were excited to attend the announcement ceremony for the grassroots Trade Union, which was recently established at one of the company’s three factories located in Do Son Industrial Park, Hai Phong City. As a 100% foreign-invested enterprise, the establishment of a trade union as soon as the company started operating is considered a remarkable success, helping create favorable conditions for workers to ensure their legitimate rights.

CQ Aluminum Products Limited Company was officially established in 2023, specializing in producing and exporting aluminum products. After receiving information about the company’s establishment, Haiphong Economic Zone Trade Union quickly propagated and mobilized the company owner to create conditions for the establishment of a grassroots trade union. After only one month of continuous work, the parties achieved positive results.

In the guidelines of the Vietnam Trade Union, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor pointed out the priority of focusing on developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions in enterprises with 30 or more stable employees. Early persuasion of enterprises to establish trade unions will mean that there are more and more workers who will have their legitimate and legal rights protected./.
