Enhance teacher quality to meet education reform demands
Fundamental and comprehensive education reform under Political Bureau Resolution No. 71 on breakthroughs in education and training development imposes increasingly high demands on the teaching workforce. In An Hai Ward, improving teacher quality is identified as a pivotal task determining the success of education reform.
One of outstanding features in the 2025–2026 school year was the excellent preschool and junior high school teacher contest at educational facilities. With seven test sites at preschools and junior high schools in the ward, the "judges visit schools for grading" method delivered practical results. The contest was held from November 11 to December 3, 2025, attracting 85 teachers—58 from preschool and 27 from junior high. The average participation rate was 29%, with the highest rates at Đồng Thái Preschool and Hồng Thái Junior High School.
The contest results affirmed the quality of An Hai Ward's teaching staff: 100% of participants earned the title of excellent ward-level teacher for the 2025–2026 academic year. Thanks to great attention from local Party committees and authorities, along with all efforts of educators, An Hai Ward is steadily elevating education quality to meet the demands of fundamental and comprehensive education reform in the new era.
