Established in 2020, up to now, Hai Phong Rare Blood Types Club has 180 members. Over the years, the members of the Club have always actively participated in voluntary blood donation festival days launched by the city’s Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation, contributing an average of 30-40 units of rare blood each year, and participating in about 25-30 times of emergency cases.

The establishment of the Rare Blood Types Club is important in helping hospitals proactively source rare blood, serving the examination and treatment of patients. Joining the Club, members will be provided with information about Rhesus  negative blood type, receive health advice and have the opportunity to help each other in necessary cases. Thereby, promoting propaganda, helping the community gain more knowledge and understanding about rare blood to proactively protect their health as well as constantly spreading the noble act of donating blood to save lives.
The club has set up a facebook and zalo page to help members connect and contact each other regularly to save lives in emergency situations. Each person has a different position and job, but everyone has the same wish to share blood with each other, especially the patients with rare blood types./.
