At the meeting, Mr. Soichi Okazaki - CEO of Aeon Group’s business in Southeast Asia, briefed on the results of Aeon Mall Group’s operations in Japan and Vietnam. He expressed great respect for the Vietnamese government in general and the Hai Phong City government in particular for having paid much attention and support to Aeon Mall Group in developing a  widely supported system of commercial centers.

So far, with 16 commercial centers across the country, Aeon Mall has become a familiar part of the lives of Hai Phong people. Aeon Group leaders emphasized the city’s great support during the construction of Aeon Mall Le Chan Hai Phong. The CEO claimed that, as 2023 is an important milestone marking 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, Aeon Mall Group will deploy more activities to respond to this event.

On behalf of Hai Phong City, Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Phong City’s Party Committee, thanked Aeon Mall Group for giving a lot of good feelings to Hai Phong City and choosing Hai Phong to build a very grand trade center. The Secretary congratulated the success of Aeon Mall Group in Hai Phong on the mall’s opening and its operation up to now and expressed the hope that in the coming time, Aeon Mall Group will continue to reap more successes in light of the socio-economic situation and the strong recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Previously, on the delegation’s visit to Aeon Mall Makuhari Shintoshin, Party Secretary Mr. Le Tien Chau expressed his impression of the mall’s operation model with its prime locations, large area, and large-scale complex. In addition, Aeon Mall deploys an innovative operation method, which is superior to other conventional commercial centers, combining many services such as clinics, amusement playgrounds, etc., aiming to serve various needs of people from shopping, entertainment, relaxation, and other necessities.
