Visiting Former City Leaders in Celebration of Hai Phong Liberation Anniversary
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong City (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025), on the morning of April 29, Mr. Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to former leaders of the city. Accompanying him were representatives of the leaders of the City Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.
He visited and presented gifts to comrades: Mr. Tran Van Thuc, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Mr. Dang Van Mam, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thi Nghia, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee informed them of some highlights of the city's socio-economic development and Party building in recent times. He sincerely thanked the former city leaders for their contributions to the city's development.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee wished the former city leaders good health and expressed his hope that with their experience in the working process, the former city leaders would continue to monitor, care for, and contribute to the cause of building and developing the city./.
