Welcoming the high-ranking delegation of the Egyptian Administrative Supervision Agency to Hai Phong, Haiphong People's Committee Chairman Nguyen Van Tung briefly informed the delegation about the city's socio-economic situation and affirmed the city’s position as a key economic development center of the North. Not only being a key traffic hus and gateway, Hai Phong is also the center of Vietnam's Northern coastal region, making great contributions to the economic development triangle of Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh as well as promoting regional connectivity. Hai Phong City has identified that promoting the prevention and fight against corruption and negativity is one of the key tasks of the entire political and social system.

Thanking the city leaders for the warm welcome, Mr. Tamer El Fargany, Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Administrative Supervision Agency expressed his impression of Haiphong's development. At the same time, he highly appreciated the city’s determination and approach to economic development and investment attraction. Mr. Tamer El Fargany emphasized that the working session was an important premise in exchanging experiences in directing and operating inspection, preventing and fighting corruption between the two sides, contributing to strengthening cooperation in terms of economic development and cultural exchanges between Egypt and Hai Phong as well as promoting good cooperation between Vietnam and Egypt in the coming time. On October 9th afternoon, the high-ranking delegation of the Egyptian Administrative Supervision Agency visited Vinfast Production and Trading Limited Company, Vingroup Group. Here, the Delegation had an opportunity to experience test-driving electric vehicles with outstanding features produced by Vinfast to supply to the domestic and international markets./.
