At the Monument of the City's Heroes and Martyrs, in a solemn atmosphere, the delegates spent a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs - the nation's outstanding sons who sacrificed their blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people. In front of the heroic martyrs, the city's delegates vowed to follow in the footsteps of the previous generation, strive to overcome all difficulties, fulfill assigned political tasks, and contribute to building Hai Phong into a strong, civilized, and prosperous city.

The delegation of city leaders offered incense at the Monument of Comrade Nguyen Duc Canh in the grounds of the Vietnam-Czechoslovakia Friendship Labor Cultural Palace.
