The competition is one of the cultural events annually and regularly held in localities, attracting artists from all over the country to participate. The event is part of the activities celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong - Heroic City (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and respond to the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025.

Attending the program were representatives of the city’s Department of Culture and Sports; representatives of the Northern Crested Bulbul Association; the Board of Directors of the Clubs under the City's Center for Culture, Films and Exhibition, along with a large number of people and tourists who came to cheer and watch. Participating in the contest were 200 artists from the clubs of Hai Duong, Quang Ninh, Thai Binh, Hanoi, etc. The Jury selects and gradually eliminates after each round, choosing 40 birds with beautiful, smooth feathers, good singing, beautiful dancing, etc., to award prizes.

The 8th Inter-Provincial Bird Singing Competition in 2025 creates a healthy and useful playground, strengthening solidarity. Through the competition, artisans will have the opportunity to pursue their passion, exchange and learn, improve their knowledge, contribute to enriching cultural and spiritual life, and create a special highlight for activities responding to the Red Flamboyant Festival this year. The Competition is also an opportunity to promote to tourists and friends from other provinces and cities the unique culture, land, and people of Hai Phong City./.
