Meeting Voters In Preparation For 17th Session Of 16th Hai Phong City People’s Council
On June 19th morning, Chairman of Hai Phong Peoples Committee Nguyen Van Tung and the Peoples Council Delegation No. 1 met with Cat Hai district voters to prepare the content of the 18th session of the 16th Hai Phong Peoples Council.

 

At the meeting, Cat Hai District’s voters expressed contentment about the socio-economic development achieved by the city over the past six months. The district voters also made recommendations related to several issues such as the city’s attention to direct an investment plan on expanding the Tan Vu - Lach Huyen route and Tan Vu Bridge; the deployment of cultural institutions at Nghia Lo resettlement area, solutions for installing lighting system on Tan Vu - Lach Huyen section from the foot of Tan Vu bridge down to Lach Huyen port, the acceleration in the implementation progress of the two projects in the area of Xuan Dam commune, namely the Xuan Dam international golf course project and Xuan Dam amusement park project; the progress of handing over the construction and operation of the street lighting system along Road 356 through Cat Ba island, the dike reinforcement plan in mangrove forests in the south of Phu Long commune to ensure safety before the storm season, the progress of putting new ferries into operation and investment in improvements and the dealing o congestion at Dong Bai Cai Vieng ferry in the near future. Furthermore, the district voters also contributed opinions on several issues presented at the 18th session of the city People's Council.

Sincerely grasping the opinions of Cat Hai district voters, Mr. Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung answered and clarified the contents that voters showed interest in, emphasizing that, based on the recommendations of island district voters, the City People's Committee leaders would direct relevant departments and branches to promptly resolve, supplement and complete the projects and proposals presented at the upcoming 18th meeting./.
