Implementing the open foreign policy, multi-lateralization, and diversification of the Party, State, and Vietnamese youth in general and Hai Phong youth in particular, in recent times, Hai Phong youth have organized many practical activities to create conditions for youth union members to have more opportunities to contact and interact with international friends such as sending delegates to participate in the "World Youth Festival" in Sochi City, Russian Federation; receiving delegations from the British Council, European Union, and Japan to Hai Phong City.

The specific action programs launched by Hai Phong Youth Union have contributed to raising awareness of Youth Union at all levels and members about the world situation and the objective requirements of international integration, equipping young people with knowledge of national culture, history, international communications, computing, and foreign languages.
