Developing Connectivity in Transportation System
A series of transportation projects including road, railway, aviation, sea, and inland waterway systems have been invested in synchronously to create a driving force for the Hai Phong Citys development in recent years. contributing to the formation of industrial parks and clusters in the city.

 

The transportation infrastructure system in Vinh Bao and Tien Lang districts is being gradually completed, along with the connective network between urban and rural areas in the southeastern part of the city, linking to the coastal area of Thai Binh province, forming a regional transportation system. These are the main objectives of the investment project to build a road connecting Provincial Road 354 - Tien Thanh Industrial Park (Tien Lang District) to National Highway 10 in Vinh Bao district. This project is being carried out urgently by the Project Management Board and the contractor.

Crossing the Thai Binh River, the road will connect to National Highway 10 (in the Vĩnh An commune area, Vinh Bao district). This is one of the key conditions for the Tan Lien Industrial Cluster to come into operation. Vinh Bao district is also deploying the progress on other industrial clusters, including Giang Bien 2, Dũng Tiến - Giang Bien, and Vinh Quang, as well as seeking investment approval for three more clusters: An Hoà, Trấn Dương - Hoà Bình, and Cổ Am. The compensation and site clearance work has been conducted rapidly, facilitating the contractor's construction efforts greatly.

To realize Resolution 45 of the Politburo, Hai Phong City has set the goal of building a synchronous transportation infrastructure system, becoming the backbone of economic and social development. Along with the completed and operational projects, ongoing projects like the Lai Xuan Bridge and the Hoa River Overpass are being urgently completed from road connections between Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and Thai Binh, creating momentum for attracting investment and development./.
