Speaking at the opening, Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Tho emphasized the importance of the competition in concretizing the motto "4 on the spot" in fire prevention, fighting, and rescue. The competition's goal is to replicate successful models such as the " Interfamilial Firefighting Safety Team " and "Public Fire Fighting Points" in residential areas, especially those with housing combined with production and business. Fourteen teams, selected from district-level competitions, participated in the event. The teams competed to earn the spot to represent the city at the regional and national Fire Fighting and Rescue Professional Competition "Interfamilial Firefighting Safety Team" 2024.

Hai An district won the first prize, while the second prize went to the Tien Lang district team, and the third prize went to the  Kien Thuy and Kien An district teams. As a result, the  Hai An district team will represent Hai Phong City at the regional qualifying round in Nam Dinh province on June 10th, where they will compete against teams from the other eleven provinces and cities. The national final round will take place on June 17th, 2024./.
