At K15 Wharf, in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and the delegates offered flowers and incense and observed a minute of silence to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs—officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People’s Navy who fought and sacrificed their lives for national liberation and the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

K15 Wharf was the starting point of the Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea during the resistance war against the United States. It was the departure point for the “no-number ships” that transported supplies and reinforcements to the battlefields in South Vietnam. Along this strategic maritime transport route, many naval officers and soldiers bravely sacrificed their lives, forever remaining in the sea, and made an important contribution to the nation’s great victory.

The incense offered at the site expressed profound gratitude to the naval soldiers who bravely sacrificed their lives and contributed to the historic achievements of the maritime front—the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea. K15 Wharf is not only an important historical site for educating younger generations about revolutionary traditions, but also a symbol of patriotism, resilience, and the noble sacrifices made by generations of naval soldiers.

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung visits the family of Comrade Le Viet Khan.

Also during his working visit on the morning of September 24, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung visited the family of Comrade Le Viet Khan, an 80-year Party member, at No. 65 Suoi Rong, Ngoc Xuyen Residential Group, Đo Son Ward.

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung warmly inquired about Comrade Le Viet Kha n’s health and living conditions, as well as those of his family, and expressed his profound gratitude for Comrade Lê Viết Khản’s significant contributions and dedication. As a veteran revolutionary cadre with many years of service to the Party and the nation, Comrade Lê Viết Khản has made substantial contributions to the Party’s and nation’s glorious revolutionary cause.

The Prime Minister wished Comrade Le Viet Khan continued good health and longevity and encouraged him to remain a strong source of spiritual support for his children and grandchildren and to continue setting an exemplary example for younger generations to follow in the cause of building and developing their hometown and the country.
