At the conference, the press agencies were informed about the city's socio-economic situation in January, the activities for the Lunar New Year, military recruitment in 2024, the execution progress of social housing construction, and the city’s key projects, among other concerns. Speaking at the conference, Ms. Dao Khanh Ha, member of Haiphong Standing Party Committee cum Head of the city Party Committee’s Propaganda and Education Department, acknowledged that the city’s press agencies have effectively promulgated to the people about the city's socio-economic development, especially a series of activities during the Lunar New Year. Besides, she required units to strengthen propaganda of the Party Congress Resolutions at all levels, focus on building Party organizations and implementing Resolution No. 45 of the Politburo on building and developing Hai Phong City until 2030, with a vision to 2045; Resolution No. 35 of the National Assembly on piloting several specific mechanisms and policies to develop Hai Phong City, the city’s year theme of development for 2024 and other major events in February and March./.
