Five Consecutive Days Off On April 30 And May 1 Holiday
On the occasion of Vietnam's Independence and Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers' Day (May 1) this year, the Government agreed to swap working days to maintain a five-consecutive-day holiday, from April 30 to May 4. Employees will work to compensate for the day off on Saturday, April 26.

For agencies and units that do not implement a fixed schedule on Saturday and Sunday every week, their specific program and plan will be used to arrange a suitable schedule. Due to work requirements, businesses may proactively require employees to work on holidays and Tet. This will be considered over time. According to Article No. 107 of the 2019 Labor Code, employees only have to work on holidays if they consent, and will be paid overtime according to the provisions of Article 98 of the 2019 Labor Code./.
