Implementing the City People's Committee's Plans on organizing the 70th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day and the opening of the 2025 Red Flamboyant Festival, the city’s Department of Culture and Sports has consulted and requested the Departments, branches, sectors, organizations; People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and units under the Department to review all activities and events that have been registered and assigned to send to the Department of Culture and Sports. Specifically, the selection of new event organizers, creators, and directors with the capacity and intelligence to develop programs and scripts is being carried out. The selections of works commensurate with the nature and scale of the implementation of the Anniversary Ceremony and the Art Program with rich and creative content, ensuring the correct theme, purpose, and requirements; strictly complying with the provisions of current laws (ensuring completion before February 25, 2025); 

At the meeting, representatives of relevant departments, branches, and units also reported on the implementation plan for ensuring security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention, fireworks, festival decoration, welcoming domestic and international delegates, etc.

After listening to the report and concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam emphasized that the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival has become a brand in the hearts of domestic and international tourists. This year, the city organizes the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025 in conjunction with the 70th Anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day and the reception of the title of Heroic City, so all preparations need to be carefully ensured. The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the city’s Department of Culture and Sports to coordinate with the organizing unit, finalize the events, agree on key contents, and select reputable event organizing teams, so that the event takes place successfully. The City Police are assigned to coordinate with Thuy Nguyen City and related units to develop a specific and detailed traffic diversion plan for parking lots for invited delegates and the public. Other relevant departments, branches, and units focus on propaganda, ensuring security and order, fire prevention and fighting, etc./.
