Hai Phong Won Multiple Awards At Vietnam Art Photography Exhibition
After over three months, the Vietnam Art Photography Competition 2024 has selected 250 works (including 200 in the realistic photography category and 50 in the conceptual photography category) from 194 photographers out of 9,500 entries to display at the exhibition. 33 outstanding works among the photos were awarded prizes (including 27 awards in the realistic photography category and 6 awards in the conceptual photography category). Artists from Hai Phong proudly won several awards in the competition.
The Hai Phong Photography Association achieved significant recognition in the realistic photography category with a Gold Medal for "Hai Phong's Sleepless Nights" by photography artist Vũ Lâm, Silver Medal for the photo series "Vietnamese Navy: Regular, Elite, Modern" by photography artist Nguyễn Viết Rừng and an Encouragement Award in the conceptual category for "Love and Longing" by photographer Lưu Thành Đạt.
The Vietnam Art Photography Competition 2024 serves as an opportunity to gather creative forces nationwide, summarizing and evaluating the achievements of Vietnamese photography. It encourages artists to create new works that hold value in content and art, serving the cultural and spiritual life of the people, while also contributing to promoting the image of the country and its people. The exhibition will take place from October 4th to October 14th, 2024, at the Temple of Literature - the Special National Heritage Site in Hanoi./.
