The delegation inspected the facilities of An Lao and Kien An Hospitals and the investment project to build a 7-story patient treatment house in Kien An Hospital. The patient-treatment house project is under construction, with some work items completed ahead of schedule. For the construction investment project of Haiphong Industrial College phase one taking up an area of 7.4 hectares and a total investment capital of more than VND 375.6 billion, the project has synchronous works, meeting the standards of high-quality vocational colleges. The enrollment scale is about 2,000 students and trainees/year. The project is under construction of principal buildings, lecture halls, dormitories, libraries, and other auxiliary works. As the plan, both projects will be completed on May 13th, 2024.

During the working session, the city leaders heard reports on the project on developing Hai Phong City’s public health system for 2024-2028 and the city’s vocational training project. The two crucial plans will help build and turn Hai Phong City into a medical center of the Northern Coastal region, creating a modern, high-quality, and effective health system by 2030 to meet the increasing needs for health care and protection of the city’s habitants and those living in the Northern Coastal region of Vietnam, stimulating vocational training, improving vocational skills for workers to meet requirements of the city’s industrialization and modernization ./.
