Recently, Hong Bang District (Hai Phong City) and Lien Chieu District (Da Nang City) have signed a new Cooperation Program. Mr. Lê Ngọc Trữ, Member of the Standing Committee of Hai Phong Party Committee and Secretary of Hong Bang District Party Committee, expressed appreciation for the collaborative activities between the two localities, based on principles of equality, friendship, trust, respect, and mutual support. The two districts aim to strengthen and expand their comprehensive cooperation, actively exchange information, and share experiences to help each other leverage their potential and advantages. This collaboration aims to promote socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security, and build a robust political system. As part of the cooperation program, the two districts also discussed solutions to expand markets, connect tours and routes, and optimally utilize the strengths and resources of both areas. This includes promoting tourism destinations and products and creating opportunities for economic growth in both regions. At the signing ceremony, the two localities agreed to propose naming a project “Lien Chieu” in Hong Bang District, and another project “Hong Bang” in Lien Chieu District. The implementation of these projects is scheduled for 2025./.
