In recent years, Pha Rung Shipyard Company has made great efforts to enhance restructuring plan  of shipbuilding industry, apply high-technology to build ships  and select contracts to build specialized ships for exports.

Pha Rung Shipyard Company has handed over to a  South Korean partner a 6,500 DWT oil tanker, coded BS01 and named “YN Yeosu”. This is the first of the three oil tankers of the same kind that the company has delivered to a Korean partner under the contract. The Pha Rung Shipyard is accelerating the construction of the remaining two tankers, BS02 and BS03, thus handing over them to the Korean company ahead of schedule.

Facing with the comprehensive restructuring plan of Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry, Pha Rung Shipyard Company found a new way in building specialized ships for foreign partners. Thanks to the prestige and tradition of Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation in general and Haiphong in particular, the company has constantly restored and developed the building of high quality ships, making contribution to the implementation of restruturing plan on shipbuilding industry./.
