Culture And Sports Sector Creates Momentum For City Development
To meet the targets and tasks set by the city for 2025, Hai Phong City’s Department of Culture and Sports needs to focus on reorganizing and streamlining the structure of the cultural, sports, and tourism sectors, along with restructuring the civil servants and public employees.
This directive was given by Mr. Le Khac Nam, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee at the conference to summarize the work in 2024, outline tasks and launch the 2025 emulation movement for the Department of Culture and Sports, held yesterday afternoon at Hai Phong City Theater.
At the conference, Mr. Le Khac Nam urged the sector to continue implementing the Party’s policies and guidelines on the development of culture and sports. In the future, the department needs to prepare thoroughly for activities related to the celebration of the New Year, Lunar New Year, the 95th anniversary of the Party’s founding, the Red Flamboyant Festival 2025, and the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day. The department should continue preserving and promoting recognized tangible and intangible cultural heritage, implement communication plans about the value of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay and Cat Ba Archipelago, and work on the scientific dossier for UNESCO’s recognition of Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm in 2025./.
