Over the past 4 terms, Hai Phong Women Entrepreneurs’ Association has increasingly affirmed its leading position among the 10 associations and business associations of the city. The association has developed a wide network of women entrepreneurs from the commune, ward to city levels. After the merger, there are currently 500 enterprises at the city level and more than 1,000 enterprises owned by women at the grassroots, creating jobs for tens of thousands of workers, facilitating the city's socio-economic development. 
At the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Counci Le Van Hieu spoke highly of the achievements won by the female entrepreneurs that have contributed to the overall development of the city in recent times. He hoped that the City Women Entrepreneurs Association will continue promoting its role as a leader, a reliable support for its members and continue to make many important contributions to the development of the city and the country. In addition, the city will pay attention to and create the best environment for the development of businesses, especially those managed by women.
