Trade connection in logistics sector promoted
Within the framework of the 2-day working visit to Hai Phong city, yesterday afternoon, the Swedish business delegation including representatives of Gothenburg Port and Vietnamese overseas enterprises in Sweden continued to have a working session with representatives of the city's Department of Industry and Trade with the aim of promoting trade connection with Hai Phong Logistics Association.

At the working session, the two sides focused on exchanging, discussing and sharing the specific operations of Hai Phong Port and Gothenburg Port, the application of digital transformation in the management of port service systems, and operational capacity to connect the sea transport route between Vietnam and Sweden.
With a system of 52 international and domestic ports and multimodal transport, Hai Phong city has paid attention to developing transport infrastructure, industrial parks and economic zones as well as completing procedures to establish a new generation Free Trade Zone and build the Southern Coastal Economic Zone in the direction of an Ecological Economic Zone. However, for logistics to truly become the "blood vessel" connecting the production - import-export chain, it requires close coordination among management agencies, the business community and international partners.
Connecting activities open up many new prospects with a number of cooperation orientations for information exchange, sharing of management experience, technology and development of modern logistics service chains, building programs to connect the export of key goods of Hai Phong city, coordinating the training of high-quality human resources, applying new technology with the aim of gradually developing Hai Phong logistics closer to international standards.
