After the inspection at the ferry, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hai Phong People's Committee Le Anh Quan requested the locality, management and operators to place focus on ensuring traffic safety for passengers. He assigned Cat Hai special zone to coordinate with relevant units to regularly notify information so that tourists can grasp the ferry schedule and proactively move and aboard the ferry on time. Related units also need to be flexible in transportation methods to meet the demand of passengers to Cat Ba Island. He assigned the People's Committee of Cat Hai Special Zone to direct the contractor to speed up the completion of the Investment Project for Construction, Renovation and Expansion of Dong Bai Ferry, Cai Vieng Ferry and the auxiliary works so as they can be put into use before September 20
