The section of the railway passing through Dương Kinh Ward is approximately 6 km long, with an estimated revoked area of 29.7 hectares, including agricultural land, irrigation and transport land, and part of residential land involving 430 households. Implementing the city's directives, up to now, the locality has coordinated with the Duong Kinh Project Management Board to complete 98% of the land inventory for the project area.

Also located within the boundary of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction investment project, Chi Minh commune has a total length of 3.73 km related to 323 households with a total area of ​​24.56 hectares. The total compensation and support cost when the state revokes the land is about 308 billion VND.

Recognizing site clearance for the project as a top and central task for the city in the coming period, implementing the direction of the City Party Secretary, 23 communes, wards, and special zones affected by the project, as well as relevant departments and sectors, are mobilizing maximum efforts. At the same time, the entire city's political system is engaged in propaganda people to agree with the Party’s and the State’s policies on compensation and site clearance, striving for completion in 2025.
