Taking care of the elderly’s health and spiritual life is not only the responsibility of the State, but also a sentiment and sacred gesture in the tradition of "Respecting the elderly - loving the young" of the Vietnamese people. Hai Phong City People's Committee’s Youth Union has launched the program "Healthy Living Space" with the desire to bring a practical gift and specific care for the elderly living at the center. After only two weeks of implementation, the healthy living space with 8 modern outdoor exercise equipment has been completed and put into use, helping the elderly exercise, improve their health, bring joy and optimism in daily life.
The program is part of the long journey of Hai Phong city youth in volunteer activities for the community, affirming that the Youth Union not only cares for children but also plays as a bridge of love between generations in society./
