This year, the city realizes a digital transformation plan focusing on directing and prioritizing resources to achieve the targets of Hai Phong City's Digital Transformation by 2025, oriented toward 2030 to create conditions and foundations to accelerate the city’s digital transformation in the new period.  Shifts and changes from awareness to action of all levels of government and people about the meaning and importance of digital transformation are positive signals. 

Hai Phong is gradually shifting into the digital environment, developing digital infrastructure and services, changing the proportion of the digital economy, and heading to digital society and digital citizenship. The city’s digital economy sets out to account for 15% of GRDP, with the proportion of the digital economy in each industry or field taking up at least 11%. Developing the digital economy is one of Hai Phong City’s greatest priorities.  

 Digital transformation is the driving force in the city's development, and a major task, throughout the leadership of the Party committees at all levels, in all activities of the agencies, organizations, people, and businesses to best serve the city's socio-economic development tasks.
