According to assessments at the conference, in the past year, more than 1.4 million people made declarations of their assets and income for the first time. Authorities have verified the assets and income of over 13,000 people, thereby finding over 2,600 individuals with declaration errors. At the conference, delegates focused on improving the quality and efficiency of asset and income control, solutions for improving the quality of the staff, etc.

Deputy Inspector-General of the Government, Mr. Bui Ngoc Lam, recommended realizing close coordination between the implementing unit and the person declaring assets and income to achieve the best results. Declaration of assets, income, and explanation reports must be honest and accurate. Agencies and officials performing asset and income control must be fair, objective, comprehensive, and humane to ensure fairness and transparency in the implementation process./.
