Digital citizen ranking on VNEID
The Ministry of Public Security is currently seeking feedback on the draft Government Resolution on developing digital citizens. This includes a proposal for ranking and scoring individuals.

According to the draft, the Ministry of Public Security proposes the criteria for becoming a digital citizen. These include having an account on VNeID, using  public and digital services safely; fulfilling the responsibilities of a digital citizen; and obtaining a digital citizen ranking. The Ministry of Public Security clarifies that citizens who actively engage with services in the digital environment will be exempted full fees for 66 basic and essential administrative procedures related to personal rights or high-frequency administrative procedures such as marriage registration, birth registration, death registration, driver's license renewal, and identity card reissuance. A minimum 50% fee reduction in fees and charges for 56 complex administrative procedures and a 10% reduction for 5 types of taxes and registration fees will be applied when using digital services and online administrative procedures through the VNeID.
