Attending the pre-review program were Mr. Nguyen Quang Phuc, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Education Department of the City Party Committee; and leaders of relevant departments, branches, units and the City Arts Council.

The program has a duration of 30 minutes, including 4 chapters with the theme: Sacred Minute with Uncle, Trung Dung - Determination to Win, The Land of the East in His Footsteps, The Vast Love of Uncle and the Great Aspiration of the Port City.

Opening the art program was the instrumental music combined with the dance tableau "Ben Ngu - Autumn 1946", followed by the song "Sacred Minutes to Remember Uncle" (composed by Duy Thai), the interlude "Tien to Thanh To" (composed by Nguyen An) - "Our city, our factory" (composed by Hoang Van), "Remembering Uncle in Hai Duong" (composed by Minh Tue), "Uncle Ho a vast love" (composed by Thuan Yen), "We love Uncle Ho Chi Minh" (composed by Ta Duy Tuan), "Echoing Uncle's voice in the middle of autumn in the port land" (composed by Tuan Phuong), "Uncle's words of the young country" (composed by Huu Thuoc), the program ended with the performance "As if there was Uncle Ho on the day of great victory" (composed by Pham Tuyen).

The program brought the audience back to the autumn days of 1946, after 4 months and 20 days of visiting France as the head of an independent and sovereign country, President Ho Chi Minh returned to the Fatherland. Ben Ngu - Hai Phong Port is honored to be the first place to welcome him. Before leaving Hai Phong, he left advice: "Advise people in the basin to practice a new life, make efforts to build". His words from that autumn afternoon have become the summons of the river.

On the morning of October 21, 1946, he recorded in the gold book of To Hieu Youth Training School: "Youth unite, try to study, work hard. Go ahead! Move forward!"; recorded the golden book of the Popular Education Board: "Strive to fight the ignorant enemy for the Vietnamese people to become a wise nation". From that sacred moment, Hai Phong carried Uncle's words into every historical journey.

On the same day, October 21, 1946, on the train from Hai Phong to Hanoi, Uncle Ho came down to wave to his compatriots at Lai Khe station, Tien Trung station. At Hai Duong station, he instructed the military and people to unite with one heart, prepare their forces and spirit, and be ready to maintain independence and freedom. Returning to the East five times, he followed the water wheel to fight waterlogging in Hiep Luc, giving Kieu people the fishing "A hundred years in the realm of people / Fighting against waterlogging victoriously is a good person"; write on the porcelain vase the five words "We must try to improve"; about Con Son - a place associated with the national hero Nguyen Trai, instructed to plant trees to cover the greenery, preserve the relic.

Just a few months after the day of welcoming Uncle, Hai Phong entered a long-term resistance war. On May 13, 1955, the city was completely liberated. Twenty days later, on June 2, 1955, Uncle Ho visited, he said: "From the last meeting to this time, it has been 10 years. In those 10 years, so many loves!"

In 1957, among the port workers, he told them to make efforts to build the port into a socialist port; at the City Theater, he reminded: "To be a servant to the people, not to be a revolutionary official". In 1961, from Duyen Hai Mechanical Factory, the emulation movement "Duyen Hai Waves" spread throughout the North. Firmly armed with guns, strong hammers, soldiers and people of Hai Phong wrote the tradition of "Trung Dung - Decisive Victory".

Eleven times when he visited, Uncle Ho came to workers, farmers, soldiers, doctors, children, compatriots on Cat Ba and Cat Hai islands... He told the doctor "Medicine is like a mother"; telling cadres to "be impartial"; instructed the Party Committee: the results of local work are a measure of the Party's leadership. His words are simple but profound, penetrating into people's hearts like a source that never runs out.

Eighty years, from the historic Ben Ngu to the deep-water port of Lach Huyen, from the first factories to modern industrial parks and free trade zones; Hai Phong and Hai Duong, now combined into one city, have written a new page of history together. Ten years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and style has become the way of thinking and doing of every cadre, party member and people.

Implementing Uncle's words, the Party Committee, the army and the people of Hai Phong are determined to build a modern and civilized port city, taking the lead in building socialism, a city "Civilized - Happy", worthy of his longing and love.

At the preliminary review program, the leaders contributed ideas for the implementation team to continue to improve the image, sound, lighting, costumes, and props to be ready to report to the city's leaders at the review performance which will take place on October 18, 2026./.
