Attending the conference were Professor Seigo Kitano, President of the Asia-Pacific Society of Gastroenterology (APSDE); Dr. Ho Dang Quy Dung, Chairman of the Vietnam Gastroenterology Association; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Cholangiopancreas Division, Head of the Department of Endoscopy and Functional Exploration, Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital; and experts in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy from Vietnam, Japan and Thailand.

At the conference, delegates had access to in-depth content on advanced ERCP and basic EUS through the topics: "Catheterization in difficult biliary access: tips, tricks and rescue techniques"; "Treatment of complex stones and biliary stenosis by ERCP"; "Introduction to tissue sampling under EUS guidelines: fundamentals of FNA/FNB"... Also at the program, the delegates discussed, practiced directly and practiced on the model to update knowledge and share about technology application.

ERCP and EUS are intensive endoscopic techniques that play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of biliary tract and pancreatic diseases and many complex digestive diseases. With the participation of leading experts in the region and practical training programs, the 15th APSDE Gastroenterology Endoscopy Training Workshop not only improved the knowledge and skills of Vietnamese medical staff, but also affirmed the increasingly clear role of Vietnam. as well as Hai Phong in international medical cooperation.
