Emphasizing that the Standing Committee of the City People's Council has agreed to hold the 19th session (special session) on October 4, Mr. Pham Van Lap, Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Council announced that the Standing Committee agreed with all 17 items presented by the City People's Committee at the 19th session, after the City People's Council Committees reviewed all the steps, ensure the process, procedures, and legal compliance. Regarding the 4 Resolutions on investment policies for construction projects in Duong Kinh and Kien An districts, the Chairman of the City People's Council proposed to supplement the opinions of the Standing Committees of the People's Councils of the two districts. He advised the City Council’s committees and relevant departments, sectors, and localities responsible for preparing the draft resolutions for the 19th session to learn from past experiences to avoid delays in preparing the session's content. With limited time remaining before the 19th session and the importance of this meeting, the Chairman urged the leaders of the City People's Committee to direct departments, agencies, and units assigned tasks to continue coordinating with the City Council’s committees to finalize the draft documents and resolutions to be presented. Additionally, they must comply with legal regulations to ensure the quality, progress, and content of the session, contributing to the effective preparation for the upcoming 19th session./.
