The visit concluded with many positive impressions, contributing to the promotion of friendly cooperation across various fields between Vietnam and China in general, and between Hai Phong city and localities in China in particular.

Within the framework of the visit, on August 5th, the Hai Phong City delegation had a working session with the Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce, China. During the session, the Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee Le Anh Quan introduced the potential, strengths, economic and social development achievements of Hai Phong City in recent times to the Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce. The city currently has 975 valid foreign investment projects with a total registered investment capital of 30.65 billion USD, including 405 projects from Chinese investors. Mr. Vice Chairman also emphasized that the city is researching to establish the Southern Hai Phong Coastal Economic Zone with projects such as Tien Lang International Airport, Nam Do Son Port, and Free Trade Zone. The city wishes to attract investors and businesses interested in and having potential in fields such as electronics and high technology, seaport services and logistics, commerce, and tourism from China in general and from Shenzhen, in particular, to explore and invest in Hai Phong city. Leaders of the Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce affirmed that the visit to the Chamber by Hai Phong city delegation is a good start and will open up many development cooperation opportunities between the two cities, Shenzhen, China, and Hai Phong, Vietnam, contributing to promoting cooperative relations between the two neighboring countries as well as the two localities, which share many similarities in economic development.

After that on August 9th, in Kunming City, the Hai Phong City delegation had a working session with Mr. Wang Yubo, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Governor of Yunnan Province, China. At the working session, Mr. Wang Yubo expressed his impression and congratulations on Hai Phong's strong breakthroughs in recent times. The Governor of Yunnan Province believes that the visit and working session of Hai Phong City delegation will open up many cooperation opportunities for development in various fields, including Party and government building; trade connection; investment attraction; tourism development; and rail and road transport. Successful cooperation between the two localities is an important testament to the friendly and good cooperative relationship between the two neighboring countries, China and Vietnam. Speaking at the working session, Mr. Le Tien Chau expressed gratitude for the warm reception of Yunnan provincial leadership and congratulated the achievements that the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and government have achieved in recent times. This visit and working session in Yunnan aim to concretize the Joint Declarations that the high-level leaders of the two Parties and countries have achieved during state visits, promote the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between Hai Phong City and Yunnan Province signed in December 2023, and deepen the friendly relationship between the two localities in all aspects./.
