Over the past 02 months, Nghe An province has been continuously affected by 03 major storms, causing many difficulties for people in disaster-affected areas. Promoting the tradition of solidarity and the national spirit of mutual love and support with affection and sharing, all classes of people in Hai Phong city have joined hands to support people in flood-affected areas of Nghe An to overcome the aftermaths of natural disasters and soon stabilize their lives.
In response to the call of Hai Phong Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee,the the city Women Entrepreneurs’ Association has mobilized and received 20 tons of rice, 30 boxes of instant noodles, 200 kg of vegetables and hundreds of food items, essential necessities, school supplies... worth nearly 300 million VND from the joint support of members to share difficulties with people in storm-flooded areas. Earlier, the working delegation of Hai Phong Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City also directly visited and provided support to people in provinces heavily affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi) with a total finance of 20 billion VND from the Relief Fund. Although the gifts were not large, they show the heart and affection of Hai Phong to people in storm-flooded areas with the hope that they will soon overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
