Welcoming the delegation to Haiphong city, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the enterprise to the Vietnamese economy in general and Hai Phong city in particular. Up to now, Ford Viet Nam is still the only US investor in the automobile industry, with a total investment capital at the Hai Duong Factory (currently in the West of Hai Phong) of more than 208 million USD. In 2024, the total taxes contributed by Ford Vietnam to the State budget reached more than 4,716 billion VND and more than 2,500 billion VND of other taxes through import activities and infrastructure fees. Haiphong Party Committee Secretary affirmed that the city is committed to accompanying, supporting, and creating favorable conditions for enterprises in general, and FORD Vietnam in particular, to invest in the city.
Sincerely thanked the warm welcome of the city leaders, on behalf of FORD Viet Nam, Mr. Ruchik Shah expressed his impression and congratulated the achievements of Hai Phong City in the past time. FORD Vietnam is proud of the achievements in 30 years of establishment and development. Vietnam is a key market for FORD. Currently, about 70% of FORD cars sold on the market are assembled in Hai Phong.
