Construction of underpass at Nguyen Trai - Le Hong Phong intersection
According to the decision of the Chairman of Hai Phong People's Committee on adjusting component 1 of the project to invest in building Nguyen Trai bridge and urban refurbishment of the surrounding area, the total investment of the project has been adjusted to increase by over 565 billion VND to 4,981 billion VND from more than 4,416 billion VND.

Specifically, the underpass will be built at Nguyen Trai - Le Hong Phong intersection. The underpass is about 340 m long and has 6 lanes. At the intersection of Nguyen Trai, Da Nang, Le Loi, Le Hong Phong and Le Lai streets will be expanded with a roundabout shape. The Nguyen Trai Bridge construction investment project has a total investment of more than 6,331 billion VND, divided into 2 project components. Component 1 has a total investment of more than 4,416 billion VND. Component 2 (land acquisition, compensation, site clearance) has a total investment of more than 1,915 billion VND. After being approved for adjustment, the total investment of project component 1 reaches more than 4,981 billion VND, the implementation period is 2024 - 2027.
