Celebrating 6 years of Hai Phong City’s traffic radio channel
This morning, Hai Phong Radio and Television marked the 6th anniversary of broadcasting traffic radio on the frequency of 102.2 Mhz, an information channel dedicated to urban traffic problems in Hai Phong City and in the region. After 6 years of hard work, the traffic radio channel has been regularly airing for more than 14 hours a day, becoming a companion to drivers, contributing to the construction of a traffic culture, for the sake of safety and general development in the city. 

 

With 20 reporters, editors, and technicians, the traffic radio channel of Hai Phong Radio and Television has been producing more than 14 hours of broadcasting per day, equivalent to 31,000 hours on the frequency of 102.2 Mhz over the past 6 years. Such programs as “24h Companion”, and “Songs on the Road”, regularly update on traffic jam situations, and have become reliable companions for every driver. Several other programs, namely “Traffic Hotspots”, “Traffic Rhythms”, and “Drivers’ Life Stories”, etc. share information and knowledge of useful laws, as well as update on the latest guidelines on traffic order and safety. Live Radio Programs such as “Morning Coffee in Hai Phong”, “Rush Hour” have also been broadcasted on many channels of radio stations in other regions such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, etc. 

Overcoming many difficulties, after 6 years of operation, the traffic radio channel of Hai Phong Radio and Television has confirmed its position. It is recognized for its expertise with honorable awards at many national radio festivals. Currently, all programs of Hai Phong Radio and Television are continuing to fulfill the mission of a key press agency of the city to promptly provide truthful and accurate information on issues and events in the city and the country in general, becoming an important link that helps consolidate the people's trust in the Party, the State, and the city.
