Ngo Quyen District Ready For Administrative Unit Arrangement
According to Resolution No. 1232 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units of Hai Phong City in the 2023 - 2025 period, from 12 wards, after the arrangement, Ngo Quyen District will have 8 wards. At this time, the entire political system and people of the district are ready for implementation from January 1st, 2025.

After nearly 50 years, Le Loi Ward will have a different name: Lach Tray Ward. Many residents in the area support this major policy and are ready to carry out the procedures according to regulations after the annexation into the new ward.

Mr. Đoàn Như Trường is very excited because the new Lach Tray Ward will retain its name after the annexation. His procedures and documents will not have to change, however, as the Secretary of residential quarters, he always accompanies the government to propagate and mobilize people in the wards to agree to the implementation from January 1st, 2025.

From 12 wards, after the rearrangement, Ngo Quyen District will have wards. Accordingly, 3 wards: Gia Vien, Lac Vien, and May To will be merged into one Gia Vien; the three wards Dong Quoc Binh, Lach Tray, and Le Loi will be annexed into Lach Tray Ward. Thanks to the promotion and mobilization, the administrative unit arrangement has received high support and consensus from the people. According to Ngo Quyen District Party Committee's Organizing Committee, after annexing 6 wards into two wards, the number of redundant cadres and civil servants is 54. By the time of the annexation, it is expected that 15 people will apply for early retirement. The remaining cadre will be relocated within five years from the effective date of the Resolution of the National Assembly's Standing Committee./.
