Pickleball Tournament for Workers
Celeberating Workers' Month, the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1), the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong in 2025, on the morning of April 19, the City People's Committee Trade Union organized the first Pickleball Sports Tournament in 2025 for workers of the city's Departments, branches, sectors, and enterprises. Attending the event were Mr. Pham Quang Sang, Deputy Secretary of the City People's Committee Party Committee.
The tournament attracted more than 100 athletes from 21 units from departments, branches, and businesses in the city. The athletes competed in the following categories: men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed men's and women's doubles. With a spirit of solidarity, honesty, and nobility, the matches were exciting and attractive, receiving enthusiastic cheers from a large audience.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded First, Second and Third prizes for each competition category, and at the same time commended the enthusiastic competitive spirit and close communication of the participating units./.
