Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Pham Van Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Hoang Minh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; together with representatives of leaders of the city's departments, branches, sectors, and unions; Labor Federations of provinces and cities; Central Industry Trade Union; and a large number of union officials, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in Hai Phong City.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation, emphasized the special significance of this year's Workers' Month as it takes place in a vibrant competitive atmosphere to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation; 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and the Hai Phong Red Flamboyant Festival 2025.

With the theme "Healthy Hai Phong Workers - Pioneers in the new era", the Workers’ Month is a strong call to all cadres, union members and workers of the city to practice physical health, and to equip themselves with a strong spirit, courage, strong will, creativity and flexible adaptability in the context of digital transformation and increasingly deep international integration.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented gifts and subsidies to union members, workers, civil servants and laborers in difficult circumstances as well as flowers and souvenir flags to units participating in the program./.
