The 2025 Hai Phong Run for a Green, Civilized and Friendly City will be held simultaneously at 7:30 a.m. on March 22, 2025 in the city at the City Theater Square and in other localities of the city with the participation of more than 3,000 people.

In the city, the opening and closing ceremonies will take place at the City Theater Square. Accordingly, the 5km running route will start at the City Theater Square - Quang Trung Street - Tam Bac Street - Nguyen Duc Canh Street - Tran Phu Street - Dien Bien Phu Street - Tran Hung Dao Street - City Theater Square.

Speaking at the meeting, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports Tran Thi Hoang Mai emphasized that this is a major activity held annually, so the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism together with the City Youth Union requested media agencies to coordinate to promote the role, benefits and effects of physical exercise on health, and to mobilize all people to participate in physical exercise and sports activities and Running Day. People's Committees of districts, towns and Thuy Nguyen City are to develop a detailed plan for Running Day 2025. The City Police will direct local police to ensure security, traffic safety, and fire prevention and fighting at the venues and the Department of Construction will coordinate with the police force to regulate traffic.
