Hai Phong Seaport is in Group 1, along with Quảng Ninh, Thái Bình, Nam Định, and Ninh Bình seaports. The decision specifies the objectives and content of the master plan for each seaport group. In Group 1's case, the target by 2030 is to handle between 322 million to 384 million tons of cargo and serve between 281,000 to 302,000 passengers. Regarding infrastructure, the plan includes constructing between 111 and 120 ports. Specifically for Hai Phong, the public maritime infrastructure will include the development of the Văn Úc River - Nam Đồ Sơn channel and the riverbank reinforcement system, as well as the upgrade and expansion of the Hai Phong maritime channel. For seaport facilities, the plan will activate wharf No. 3 to No. 8 in the Lach Huyen port area and invest in the wharf for the Nam Đồ Sơn port area. The decision also outlines specific solutions to implement the master plan based on the real conditions of each locality./.
