Mr. Le Tien Chau, member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of Hai Phong Party Committee, Head of the city’s National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; as well as members of the Standing Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee and Hai Phong Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and a large number of people and tourists attended the event.

With the theme “Hai Phong - Spring and Aspiration”, the New Year's Eve art program “Hai Phong welcomes the New Year 2025” looks back at a proud and memorable year for Hai Phong City and brings the traditional Tet flavor of the Vietnamese people through 3 unique and impressive art parts. Part 1, “Awakening Spring” is a panoramic picture of the city's achievements over the past year in politics, economy, culture, and society. Part 2 “Spring Happiness” includes an amazing performance showing that spring fills the whole country, praising the beauty of the homeland of Vietnam on the threshold of the new spring. Part 3 “Hai Phong - Spring and Aspiration” includes contemporary art performance, expressing the heroic spirit, strength, will, and belief in a victorious spring. The songs were performed by well-reputed singers and artists born in Hai Phong City.

Right on New Year's Eve, the sky of Hai Phong was lit up with fireworks, signaling a new beginning and good wishes for the new Year of the Snake 2025./.
