Hai Phong City Leads In FDI Attraction
Hai Phong City is considered a prime destination for top global investors. Currently, the city has 975 valid foreign investment projects with a total registered investment capital of 30.65 billion USD.
From the beginning of the year until July 20th, 2024, the city has attracted over 1.373 billion USD in foreign investment capital. This includes 68 new projects with newly granted capital totaling more than 402 million USD. Specifically, 39 new projects in industrial parks and economic zones received over 350 million USD (accounting for 87.17% of the total), while 29 new projects outside these areas received 51.66 million USD (accounting for 12.83%). Additionally, 38 projects had their investment capital adjusted with an increase of 564.69 million USD. Of these, 28 projects are located in industrial parks and economic zones, and 10 projects are outside these areas./.
