Hai Phong Cai Luong Troup Prepares For Performance Night
Following the successes of the November Digital Television Stage, Hai Phong Cai Luong Troupe is actively preparing for the December Digital Television Stage with the "Mõ Goddess" performance for the audiences.
The performance tells the story of Princess Quynh Tran, daughter of King Tran Thanh Tong. Before taking refuge in Buddhism, she chose the land of Kinh Mon district, now in Ngu Phuc commune, Kien Thuy district, to set up a fiefdom and provide food and money to people in need. The portrayal of a historical figure with many prominent impressions requires careful investment and preparation, from scripting to preparing costumes for each actor.
Currently, the creative team and artists are working assiduously to prepare for the performance night.
The folk opera "Mõ Goddess" will be performed by a collective of artists and actors from Hai Phong Cai Luong Troupe, Vietnam Cai Luong Theater, and art troupes from within and outside the city. Currently, the crew and artists are working hard to practice and prepare for the performance, which is expected to take place on December 23rd./.
